In the Library tab you have access to the master library, your sound libraries, projects, presets, sound packs and playlists. It functions much like the finder. You can search for sounds in this window by opening folders and pressing the spacebar to preview when a sound file is selected.

Similarly, you can select from ADD’s hundreds of presets in the preset menu to get you started. We go into detail on presets later in this manual.

At the bottom of this window you will find a “Plus” and “Minus” buttons. These buttons create and remove playlists.

In the Search tab you can browse and preview sounds. You can easily search sound by typing a keyword in the search browser. Use commas (,) to separate keywords. Select “And/ Or” for a better result and “Reset” will allow you to clear up the search browser.

Alternatively, you can find sounds by clicking on the search term buttons to easily discover all the sounds in ADD.

There is also a keywords and an ADD pull down which shows all the keywords remaining in any given selection. You can use these pull downs to help give you ideas for the search terms that describe the type of sound you’re looking for.

The libraries pull down allows you to focus your search so you are only searching in the selected libraries.

3.3 Timeline Window (TEAL):

This window holds all of the components of your session: tracks, audio regions, sync markers, time ruler, and video track. At the top of this window, you will find the timeline menu commands, allowing you to have a quick access to multiple options.
